"You Bring Me Life" is the third instrumental beat between Psalm Trees and ALEXANDER off their upcoming collaborative album, From Scratch. This song samples the jazz tracks under their duo's moniker Spirit of Naima, which we're releasing at the same time. Building a jazz album from scratch and then sampling those elements to make jazzy hip-hop beats, Psalm Trees is showing us how it's done, one step at a time, from start to finish. "You Bring Me Life" is another lively piano-driven number, complete with a saxophone, a guiding bass line, violines, vocal chops, and a steady drum kick. Perfect for watching the rain fall, going on a walk, or paying a visit to the local record store. The full-length album, From Scratch, is out on November 05.
