I visited the beach last week, hoping to find a small plant like the one I brought back from the coast of Monterey years ago. That one finally died after being placed in a dark corner. I guess that kind of plant does not grow in Southern California. However, I had spent a time looking at anemones in the tidal pools and recorded the sound of the water flowing in and out of them on my phone. 
The pools are at the base of a high cliff, far above there are a few trees that cling to the edge of the cliff and succulents cascade down. At the base and around some large rocks is a small, shallow cave. As the sun set to my right, I sat there wondering if the rising tide would trap me there in that little cave, or would I be able to scramble up the large rocks with my boots on. I escaped, they are good boots.

I got the nickname "Glitch" from  co-workers when I was working at a mine up in the mountains north of Breckinridge. When it's cold we would work out side or driving tractors for 45 mins and then jump in a work truck and warm up for 20 minutes. One day I left my phone paired with the stereo in the work truck. I was operating an excavator near by when some of the guys jumped in the truck to warm up. When they cranked the truck on- my phone paired and Apex Twin or Autechre came on over the stereo. I had to try to explain what I referred to as "glitch music"- so, being a bunch of hicks, they called me Glitch from that point forward. I'm using this account to motivate me to finish tracks and get better at producing my music. I travel all over North America for work and take machines with me so I can occupy myself in my motel room instead of hanging out in bars. I used to name each track after the city I was in when I began the track. Now that I'm finishing tracks- the character of each track is more developed I think. I would very much appreciate any feedback on my music as I don't share it with anyone I know. Thank you.
