Mochipet collaborated with The Bangerz for the track titled Mothership on the new Jabbawockeez PRiSM Soundtrack! For those who are not familiar, Jabbawockeez is an eight-member, all male, hip-hop dance crew best known for being the winners of the first season of America’s Best Dance Crew. They were initially formed by members Kevin “KB” Brewer, Phil “Swagger Boy” Tayag, & Joe “Punkee” Larot under the name “3 Muskee”. By 2004, their members included Ben “B-Tek” Chung, Chris “Cristyle” Gatdula, Rynan “Kid Rainen” Paguio, and Jeff “Phi” Nguyen. Tony “Transformer” Tran joined the crew in 2013. The Jabbawockeez do not have a leader of the group; choreography for their performances as well as music and design choices are made as a collective unit!

Just three years after Popcaan first stepped out in his Clarks as Vybz Kartel's protégé, he has quickly established himself as one of Jamaica's biggest artists. His distinctive voice, versatile style and positive energy has propelled him through summer smashes “Ravin” and “Party Shot,” pensive political tracks “The System” and “Dream,” and gallis anthems like “Only Man She Want.” Along the way, he's piled up tens of millions of YouTube plays, a Billboard Hot 100 hit and high profile collaborations with Snoop, Pusha T, and Busta Rhymes.

His much anticipated debut album will be dropping on Mixpak in the first quarter of 2014, and we're proud to release “Everything Nice” as the first single from the record. Popcaan lays his trademark catchy melodies and controlled flow over a minimal riddim produced by Dubbel Dutch that lies somewhere between dancehall and hip hop. Delivering a reflective and casually nostalgic track on the balance of working hard and holding a meds, the song is dedicated to his fans and their struggles. As Poppy whiles his worries away, the track eventually melts with the vocal, leaving a bittersweet blissfulness.

“Everything Nice” sets the tone for the LP, in name and nature. This is the first of a new palette of sounds and songs that carry Popcaan’s next chapter.

This is our unofficial bootleg of The Bangerz' brand new single, "Robot Remains", that came out on iTunes just last week. The Bangerz' are producers for America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC) Season 1 Champions - the legendary JabbawockeeZ.

We're big fans of the JabbawockeeZ and loved this track when we first heard them perform to it on the MTV ABDC Champions for Charity Special Event. Doing this bootleg has been high on our anticipated projects list.

It goes from Breaks to Dubstep to Breaks with the original Hip Hop breakdowns in between, so if you like your genre jumping, you shouldn't have any complaints! We think it works and we hope y'all agree!!
