This guest mix, by our amazing friend Quantum Echo, was recorded from the 18th edition of our radio show with Patchouli Deep! Our radio show series is called "Infinite Depths" and we're playing on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6pm ✌️

Quantum Echo is an audiovisual artist known for his experimental electronic sound that ebbs and flows in multiple different directions; blending ambient, experimental, IDM and more. While most of his releases are self-published via Bandcamp, his cassette release Blue Mirror appeared on the independent label &Options. He has performed at venues such as Peckham Levels, The Bath House and Folklore Hoxton, as well as alongside ourselves at Chill:In and Books N' Beats at London Night Cafe 🎶✨

This mix is comprised 100% of his own, mostly unreleased productions (what an honour 🫂), showcasing a deep and ethereal journey into the depths of his inner consciousness. He showcases ambient and beat-driven atmospheric soundscapes, loaded with soothing pads and immersive field recordings. We hope you enjoy! 💙

Glittcherz presents Infinite Depths, guest: Quantum Echo- Patchouli Deep Radio Show (06.08.25)

For our slot on Love Will Save The Day FM’s August Open Air takeover we wanted to bring our two worlds together; the urgency of rave and the imaginative spirit of experimental. The result is a set that can feel a little unsettling at times yet always remains percussive & tied to the dancefloor, with selections that highlight abstract and darker edges of electronic music chosen for the more adventurous listener 🎧

The journey begins in a restrained, leftfield mood, moving from the atmospheric techno of Laurel Halo & Hodge into the intricate breakbeats of Monophonik, before shifting into heavier UK bass territory with Breaka and the off-kilter beats of 9TRANE's Croydon Dub. From there the structure starts to splinter, veering into distortion and raw, immersive sound design with Anthony Baldino, and into warped, glitchy, malfunctioning rhythms with Ivy Lab. Out of this disarray comes release, carried by the emotive lift of La Soul’s Need to Feel Love and reaching into expansive, trance-adjacent and euphoric spaces with Twin Complex and Nowfeel 🚀

By the close the set feels like a passage from shadow into light, an exploration of contrasts. More than anything it stands as a love letter to electronic music of all forms, from the collective energy of the club to the intimacy of headphone listening, a reminder of how intensely these sounds can hold us wherever and however they are experienced ✨

London-based duo Glittcherz (pronounced ‘glitch-er-z’) are DJs and radio residents blurring the lines between rave energy and cinematic depth. Rooted in underground electronic music, their immersive sets weave together driving bass, intricate rhythms and psychedelic soundscapes, inviting listeners into a world where unpredictability is expected.

Embracing fluidity, these two move through a plethora of genres, fusing the weight of techno, dubstep, drum & bass and electro with the textures of ambient, world music and electronica. Hints of jazz and classical elements surface organically, adding musicality to their sound.

Whether igniting dancefloors or curating intimate listening experiences, they embrace the full spectrum of sound, aiming to create something truly transportive.
