David Morales tips his hat to his rich Puerto Rican musical roots, delivering a spectacular triple track Bandcamp only special release, ‘Brooklyn Friends’, loaded with authentic Latin and Jazzy sun-kissed grooves. Offering something a little different to his usual club-centric House releases, David and his team of heavyweight musicians, Axel Tosca (Keys), Steve Thornton (Percussion) and Slick Tim (Bass), go all out to deliver a feast of irresistible Latino grooves performed with the highest level of musicianship. ‘Boriqua’, ‘Brooklyn Friends’, and ‘Oye Como Va’ all come with beautifully crafted soundtracks full of percussive beats, incredible piano solos, funky bass lines and catchy vocal chants, evoking intoxicating vibes that will attract dancers like a red rag to a bull.

My hour started off nice and funky, quickly built up the tempo to cram in a few promos, and ended up with a few dusty disco belters north of 130BPM. Fun times!

I was lucky to snag a very special guest for the second hour. French DJ, singer, composer, multi instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer David Baluteau AKA Joi N’Juno. He’s another one of my favourite producers, specialising in funky, danceable tunes with African influences. His mix is bloody brilliant - lots of tropical sunshine sounds, some solid nu-disco and housed up worldwide oddities, with a few of his own in there, including a bit of unreleased stuff. Loved every minute of this one, and I hope you enjoy it too.

One of French electronic music’s most revered names, The Reflex debuts on Glitterbox with the long-awaited ID ‘Weekend’. The now London-based producer, DJ and remixer is widely celebrated for his ‘revisions’, deep diving into the stems of tracks and re-building them from the ground up. He has added his signature to hundreds of classic tracks from A-list artists, clocking in over 100 million streams and earning him major respect from the scene’s very best - including Nile Rogers, Disclosure, Mousse T., Gilles Peterson and famed ‘Thriller’ songwriter Rod Temperton to name a very small few. Originally debuted in December 2018 as a rough demo in The Reflex’s ‘Mastertapes' series, ‘Weekend’ quickly became a reliable secret weapon for his DJ sets across the globe – soon to include Glitterbox’s summer season at Hï Ibiza and the label’s stage at Defected Malta in 2025. Fran Deeper, from Mallorca, Spain, is one of the most important references of the House / Nu-Disco scene. He's the owner of the prestigious record label Spa in Disco, which has published more than 100 titles in digital format.

His extensive musical career and Nu-Disco Underground with electronic touch style has opened him the doors to some of the most prestigious DJ booths all over the world: Madrid, Mexico City, Ibiza, Tulum, London, Guadalajara, Berlin, San Francisco, Marseille, Jakarta, Barcelona, Milan, Stockholm or Bali, to name a few.

In all of them, he's shared the stage with some of the most important global representatives of the style like Pete Herbert, Rayko, Thomass Jackson, Ilya Santana, or Ray Mang, making him a veteran of the dance floors.

Thanks to his long career, he's also collaborated with some of the most well-known international record labels like Midnight Riot, Rare Wiri, NDYD, Spirit Soul Records, Love Harder Records, or Hot Digits. Besides, he's also collaborated with some of the top blogs like 'Music is 4 Lovers', 'Gouranga,' 'Le Visiteur,' 'Deep House Moscow,' 'Red Bull,' 'The London Disco Society' and even radios like 'Vibes Radio,' 'The Basement Radio,' and currently on a weekly program for the prestigious 'Ibiza Global Radio.
