Kneaded Pain's KPAINS series returns for its eighth instalment as it continues to push and highlight some of the brightest new talents rising up across the techno landscape.

A bumper collection of raw and hypnotic tracks from the likes of Nuke, Marina George, Holger Zilske and Martin Landsky are joined by harder techno cuts from Rispoli Benito, Debbie It and Fenska. 

Risa Taniguchi and Do Shock Booze go dark and psychedelic with their offerings, whilst Queer On Acid, Melvin Spix, Mijk van Dijk, and Alex Blanco round off this essential package with some groove laden club tracks.

DO SHOCK BOOZE, who runs the Japanese indie label TOTEM TRAXX, has released “Firefly Squid,” a floor-ready techno track featuring KENJI IKEGAMI playing the shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese instrument, and flavored with electronic tribal dance and trance music. Firefly Squid” on his home label.The track is a hard, heavy minimal techno with a dubby percussive sound and a somewhat mysterious, ravey synth sound.The remixers for this album include Len Faki's Figure label, as well as the label's party series “MEiYOU,” a Japan performance at the outdoor festival “GLOBAL ARK,” Bassiani, Reclain your City, and many others, and a podcast series that brings the current techno scene to the world. The album also features three tracks with Arthur Robert, who has participated in numerous podcast series such as Bassiani, Reclain your City, etc., and DJ M.A.X, a P.A., DJ, and producer who is active mainly in Japan and whose obsession with sound quality is beyond the realm of enthusiasts, as the splendid remixer. Furthermore, the music video supervised by Kazuhiro Inoue, who also works as a VJ, features street dance crew Shiba SIVA (CCBB&YUNA), UV Live Painter, Kocha Wadda, and others appear in the music video supervised by Kazuhiro Inoue, who also works as a VJ, and beautifully expresses the unique worldview of the song.The journey to find new energy in the supernatural sound world that transcends the boundaries of all living things of TOTEM TRAXX continues!

国内有数の野外フェスティバル「Global Ark」から派生した本レーベルを主宰するDO SHOCK BOOZEの新曲「Hakobune」、同じく「Global Ark」の発起人、DJ MIKUのRemixをコンパイルしたニューシングルが発表になった。
DO SHOCK BOOZEは2010年に立ち上げたテクノレーベル＜TOTEM TRAXX＞をホームとし、自身の楽曲のみに留まらず、共鳴するバラエティに富んだ良質な作品の探求を続けており、今作でもオーガニックとサイケデリックの理想的な共存を指向したサウンドスケープが縦横無尽に表現されている。また、DJ MIKUの本流ともいえるインテリジェンスかつドープなリミックスは、時間の経過と共に破壊と構築を見事にエレベートさせていくアカデミックミニマルとも言えるかもしれない。

Jun Jikooha, a member of the goa trance unit “Jikooha” who has been active in the trance scene for over 25 years and has released on various labels worldwide, has released his second Acid Techno release under the name “Jun Jikooha.

The original tracks on this EP, Bloodsport and Feel No Pain, are dance tracks for those who have the will to resist the violent world of cruel capitalism and still make their way through everyday life.

The collaborative version with Do Shock Booze, who presides over the label, is a more dopey reworking of the original,
The remix by Tomocomo, Jun Jikooha's beloved wife, is a dubby creation of a different space.
