Behind our individual identities lie a complex sequence of events. We spend years defining who we are through experiences, ideas and thoughts. But what if identity is an illusion? What if our sense of self is constructed by millions of ideas outside our control? Does this still make us real, if only to ourselves? 

The line between the real and the illusory is delicate. Ideas, concepts and words define who we are, but they can’t be touched, they don’t physically exist. So what does exist? Does something have to be concrete and physical to be real, or are concepts and metaphors real too?

This EP is about perception. It’s about the power of ideas. It’s about embracing randomness. It's dedicated to the dreamers, the shakers, the movers and the makers. We’re all born of civilised madness, so let’s go with the flow.

Looking at the cover of this EP, we get a glimpse of the deceptions our brains are capable of, illustrated by a master of illusion, Joe Webb.

Our impressions of the world are experiences that define our wishes, dreams and in the end everything about our life from the beginning till the very end. Even though we all have our individual expectations and opinions we are able to mix them, find the inbetween and hopefully mak the world a better place thereby.

This also describes „Saive & Kleiber“ process making their first album „al'awal“. They gathered their impressions, that reached from chants and unusual instruments to the pure sounds of nature, in order to capture their dreams and make music that resonated with themselves. Always aware how they perceive the world, how it maybe, in order to transform.

Warm earthy sounds, a folkloric vocal and a main guitar giving a gypsy feeling - "Que no venga“ represents our journey on earth. Enjoying the good times dancing.
„Flood“ gives you a progressive feeling, you can feel the change and the ongoing movement. The piano and synths create a symbiosis between modular and analog sounds, western guitars and a flute reconnecting modern and traditional instruments.
„Potenza" takes you more underground, to explore the secrets of the underworld escorted by deep and sonic waves. Minimalistic but not empty.

We are very happy to present you the debut EP from the french producer @apaj_duc. His way of understanding downtempo has cast a spell on us right from the start and stands for exactly the kind of music we want to express on our label. His sound comes simple, yet refined, dreamy, but direct and makes you want to dive deeper into slow music. The 5 original tracks convince with subtle textures and a danceable character.

We are very excited to see where his journey will go to and wish him all the best for the future.

The tracks of this EP are tuned to the frequencies of the moon and the planet mercury. These are the 29th and 30th octaves or exponents of the orbits of the moon and the planet mercury respectively. 
 
A frequency or a tone to which you can tune a track is nothing more than an occurrence measured per seconds (hz) and an orbit of a planet or moon is an occurrence, measured from our point of view, per days. This means that frequencies and orbits can be linked, and this is done through the law of the octave.
 
Opticks is tuned to the mathematical translation of the color spectrum into sound.  The spectrum of visible light for humans is precisely in the space of one musical octave and the colours fall roughly in a Major tone scale. Hence the name as an ode to the lesser known panpsychist and mystical side of Newton who was very aware of this and wrote about it extensively. 
 
In a way you can see these tracks as acoustical exponents from our natural cosmic surroundings and our focus on them can bring us into harmony with the greater mathematical system that is present in the essence of things.
 
These tracks tune you to the cosmos. Use these powerful frequencies to let the cosmos sound through you. Because remember, you, you are the cosmos, experiencing itself from within.

Anthoni Logos uplifts your consciousness with mystical audio-visual experiences. It is music for your soul to dance and to grow. He does this for the one who desires meaningful and novel experiences, to help grow spiritually and to discover the richness of their inner world. Because a global inner awakening is necessary to make the world a better place for us all. 

Anthoni Logos' sound is driven by deep bass lines and grooving percussive hats. He loves to use the contrast of the drum computer with more loosely played or sound designed organic percussive elements, preferably Moog-ish or Modular synth sounds, embellished with warm organic melodies. Combining the ‘real’ and ‘the abstract’ to shape his own world of sound - mysterious, futuristic, grooving, melodic and story driven, somewhere in between the vague borders of house and techno music. 

He believes that there is an underlying order in this universe. This order expresses itself in the form of numerical relations and these numerical relations are the unifying principle of his music. In nature and the universe these mathematics and geometry are the unifying principles of life. We are so separate from that reality now - in life and in music, Anthoni Logos wants to connect them again.
