This track has a lot more meaning to it than most of my other tracks. The idea behind this track is to show how instrumental Hip Hop needs to be brought back. These days producers just make beats for rappers which makes the actual beat itself lose meaning and emotion. What i did with this track is brought back that 'J-Dilla' flare whilst also bring the new school instrumental into it.

When I Met You

Friends,

After a few months of creative struggles and writer’s block, I am nothing but excited to share this new musical chapter with all of you.

In the past year I have been experimenting with almost every genre you can possibly think of, but I kept coming back to the genre that started this whole musical journey to begin with: vintage funk. 

Expect my second EP to drop in the last week of summer. After that, I will be focussing mainly on upbeat house-y disco tunes. But hey, time will tell.
