It's been a while since I last played with Bitwig. The 4.1 Beta made me start doing things in there again. I had lots of fun with some of the new note tools, but also with some old tools I haven't used in a while.

not a real piano, I do not have one

I decided to take the Spitfire Audio Oliver Patrice Weder sample library out for a spin

then in REAPER, with the help of some friends on the unoffical REAPER discord, I discovered a handy MIDI note filter, which I set up in the d# pentatonic minor scale... all the black notes

that saved me the task of going through the MIDI items to delete duff notes, although there are still some duff notes but only because they are too close together

the MIDI items were not quantised or post processed, so this is an as is warts and all recording of a live performance

and, yes, it is thirty minutes long... I felt that I had to put some kind of limit on it hahahaha

I might take bits and pieces from this take to make something more betterer in the future
