A song about the struggles of mankind throughout the times. Looking at the progress of civilisations and inventions over a longer period of time, it appears we’re slowly developing into… ehhh, well, into “what” exactly? Does it all lead to a revelation of some kind? Infinite knowledge? Weird tech and science? Invincibility? Godlike powers? Or are we bound to overplay our hand one day, fail miserably as a species, and be left in the dark for eternity?
I’d like to think our growth into complexity is the logical result of a strive to survive in a hostile environment, or maybe it’s all just some weird joke on steroids, leaving us with eternal hardships to no end.
