Ein Lichtstrahl schaut zum Fenster rein
Bin süchtig nach dem Sonnenschein
Halt' mein Gesicht direkt hinein
Welches Gefühl kann schöner sein

Doch Unbehagen macht sich breit
Ein Schauer geht durch Mark und Bein
Kein Schrei aus meinem Mund entweicht
Bin unbeweglich wie ein Stein

Das Licht lockt uns Insekten an
Die Schatten kriechen hoch die Wand
Es zieht mich bis zum Fensterrand
Wo ich den Abgrund sehen kann

Gerade noch mit letzter Kraft
Hab ich es zum Vorhang geschafft
Ich ziehe ihn ruckartig zu
Die Schatten verrecken im Nu

Die Sonne ist ab jetzt mein Feind
Werde nur noch im Dunkeln sein
Und irgendwann komm ich hier raus
Der Mond weist mir den Weg hinaus

A ray of light peeks in through the window
I'm addicted to the sunshine
Stick my face right in
What feeling can be more beautiful

But uneasiness spreads
A shiver shakes to the core
No scream escapes from my mouth
I'm immobile as a stone

The light attracts us insects
The shadows creep up the wall
It pulls me to the edge of the window
Where I can see the abyss

Just with the last bit of strength
I made it to the curtain
I pull it shut abruptly
The shadows perish in no time

The sun is my enemy from now on
Will only be in the dark
And someday I'll get out of here
The moon shows me the way out
