Sessions LA is a music writing, production, recording, & DJing program for youth and young adults in Los Angeles. Our mission is to promote youth development, nurture critical thinking, and foster community building through the process of creating music.

Microwave Mondays is an online sample-based beat battle/showcase hosted by Sessions LA (www.sessionsla.com).  The showcase is guest judged by renowned producers, DJs, record collectors, music journalists, et al, each go around. The judges are also the sample selectors.  We try to put up a new installment every other Monday, but sometimes that doesn't happen due to scheduling issues, among other things.
