In March 2023, Ugandan MP's passed a bill imposing the death penalty for homosexuality. In the run up to the bill's passing, a new wave of anti-gay animus had taken hold. In February, alone more than 110 LGBTQ Ugandans reported incidents including arrests, sexual violence, evictions and public undressing to advocacy group SMUG. The bill further puts LGBTQ people at risk by threatening landlords with imprisonment. 

This fundraiser is run by a group of LGBTQ Ugandans and UK allies from the arts, electronic music and activist community who are rallying to directly support at-risk individuals.  The fund acquired will go directly to those affected, paying for costs such as
- Bail for LGBTQ people inprisoned 
- Relocating to a safer area
- Emergency accommodation costs
- Legal and medical fees 
- Visa and transportation costs for those leaving the country 

❁ Kílala Lelum (Urban Indigenous Health and Healing Cooperative) is a health center borne out a desire to partner Indigenous Elders with group an experience group of inner-city physicians, nurses and allied health professionals to go beyond the traditional clinical care by providing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual care to Indigenous  communities within Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Kílala Lelum is based on a holistic and culturally-based health center which provides dignified care which is Indigenous-focused and Elder-led and trauma-informed. We're very excited to welcome Dj wiggles to the series who has quickly become a firm favourite of ours via mixes and shows on Kindred, Netil Radio, Rinse FM and Origin Tapes to name a few.  

With a regular show on Netil Radio, Dj wiggles is breaking through the London club scene and beyond. Founder of the event and mix series' kinetic and off limits, Dj wiggles is here to mainly give a platform emerging artists with the hope of being able to help build the artist's profile, in turn gaining more regular gigs and enter a scene which often times feels off limits as well as encourage more diverse lineups within nightlife. 

Leaning more into the trippy, wormhole soundscapes, the past year in particular has seen Dj wiggles play iconic events and venues including the likes of Risen festival, Colour Factory, Bodily, Patterns, Above Below festival and more (definitely recommend checking out Dj wiggles' set from Above Below once you've finished here!)

Founder of the mighty party and event organizer Tombolo, beloved Madrid local hero OG Juan is a one to follow (not in the social media way, tho). He has been promoting and working the club scene for more than 10 years. Programmer and curator of different projects, he started setting up raves and underground events in 2012, right when some of us were learning how to spin. He has brought more than 200 international artists from all kinds of music genres throughout his career including Mezerg, Orlando Julius, Fatima, Yussef Dayes, or Egyptian Lover.

For this set, he has prepared a banger after banger vibe with all shorts of roots within house with a deep feel for the classics. Pretty much what you expect to hear on one of his atomic sets.

The label name comes from the mistakes unveiling the extraordinary. Our first release from Om Buschman was possible due to the finding of hundreds of original copies with matte covers in a warehouse. Those never got distributed because of the printing error, therefore Glossy Mistakes.
