O duo de dj’s Tropicals surge da união dos gêmeos Ian e Igor Cals para apresentar uma identidade fluida baseada na música tropical. Buscando trazer luz às diferentes formas de sons quentes através da música tupiniquim, caribenha, latina, oriental, africana e outras abaixo da linha do equador, trazendo suas riquezas e histórias escondidas. desenvolveram uma curadoria mesclando inúmeras vertentes da música eletrônica às diferentes sonoridades solares.

Constantemente em transformação através da busca por joias relegadas pelo tempo, encontraram o tempero ideal na junção do brasil a tropicalidades não nacionais para entregar sua formula final. Influências trazidas do ítalo, kwaito, zouk, boogie, afro, grooves, disco, house, synth pops, entre outros fizeram com que fosse possível lapidar ainda mais a identidade da dupla em algo que torna o brasil tão único: a pluralidade.
