Frogs are my fav!  They too cute. Ive never been anywhere to hear them in such a fashion.  Sort of like a cricket with a Theremin. Thanks

We are fortunate to have a small pond in the woods near our house.  At times the frogs have a party - this is a field recording of that event.

In November I took part in a one-month game-jam to make a video game from scratch - with me being composer/musician.

The whole thing was the itch.io GameOff 2020 with the motto being "moonshot".

Our team (four people all in all) went on to make small platformer game with the protagonist Louise - a small mouse astronaut - on a year long mission finally finds the fabled cheese-planet only to discover it is run by cats. The game is about Louise escaping from her prison to safety.

For me it was the first time I've actually been able to finish a soundtrack and tried to go for some sci-fi standard tropes like saw-tooth synths and 303 sounds as well as classic drummachine-vibes. This is also the first time I've used guitar on only one or two tracks and tried incorporating lots of piano sounds aswell.

Structurally these were all loopable soundbits, varying in length. During december I've spent some more time on the ideas to make them a little bit more fitting for a listening experience without (I hope) altering too much of the vibe.

Not all of these made the cut for the final version of the three-world/level game, but I still thought it would be nice to have all the ideas in one place.
