American Hip Hop has its roots on the Eastern seaboard, especially the Bronx and Brooklyn. Boston and Massachusetts have contributed to that legacy, consistently fostering artists that rival the industry's best. From Cousin Stizz's streetwise tales to BIA's genre-defying style and the enduring influence of pioneers like Ed O.G. and Big Shug, Boston's Hip Hop scene has always teemed with talent. In this dynamic mix, Rapper, Producer, and Engineer Abyss comfortably alongside these influential figures, boasting nearly two decades of career.

His musical journey traces back to the 80s, shaped by an extended family entrenched in the music industry. At 15, his mother gifted him a home computer, launching an unstoppable musical trajectory. Inspired by 90s hip-hop icons like Biggie, Onyx, Big L, 2Pac, Nas, and local mavericks Seti Tzu, Lou Showers, and Cyrus Dazine, Abyss purposefully avoids mainstream conformity. His sound, marked by earthy tones, robust drums, and gritty sample stabs, melds with a lyrical flow, shifting seamlessly between moody, aggressive, humorous, and energetic tracks.

With nine albums and numerous singles, Abyss also shares the stage with Apathy, Slaine, and Tragedy Khadafi, amongst others. His razor-sharp lyrics addressing life's struggles, addiction, and boastful rap competitiveness have resonated on radio, magazines, online platforms, and Top 10 charts.
