We live and learn from life's tests and trials.
No man remains the same when life takes place.
We are either propelled towards truth, understanding as well as personal growth and goodness or we can be ricocheted in the opposite direction.

It is a story about love gained, love lost, one's hopes, one's dreams, the highs and lows and the reality we have come to perceive and know as life.
It is also about the transition from the old to the new.

 Jacques’ musical career began behind a drum kit, playing drums for local bands and gigging  regularly around Newcastle through the noughties.    A natural ability for rhythm and reading the beat led him to start spinning vinyl in 2004, starting  out at what was then known as the M­Bar playing breaks.    As Newcastle’s nightlife entered a period of transition, Jacques shifted his focus to producing  his own tracks. In 2014 he launched the monthly Sunday Social event in collaboration with dj  Phil Sure, now an established event on Newcastle’s underground music scene calendar.    Jacques is inspired by minimal, tech house sounds and influenced by artists such as Dorisburg,  Dyed Soundorum, Andrey Pushkarev and Guy Gerber.    Teaming up with the local Sunday Social and Coloursound crews, Jacques continues to be a  keen player and passionate advocate for Newcastle’s underground music scene.
