In this take over by the label TECNOLOGÍAS ELEMENTALES (Buenos Aires / Berlin), they present a selection of Djs and live acts to introduce their second album.  This encounter took place on a very special day: April 2nd in Argentina commemorates the victims of the Malvinas War, a bloody confrontation between the neoliberal government of Margaret Thatcher and the murderous Argentine dictatorship over British-occupied territory. 
Kiernan Laveaux is a connective rhythmic energy conduit & ecstatic beat conductor from the Great Lakes. A boundless ball of discordant energy, she’s best known for her arcane technical skill, propulsive dancefloor catharsis, & hyper-creative approach behind the decks. The music included here is all-embracing & expansive, but unified by a restless sense of ecstatic momentum, dissonant euphoria, & kinetic exuberance. This channels binary dissolving phenomena throughout our known universe via unbridled musical vitality.

Life got in the way but after a little break, GMIX returns with a short + potent one from one of the artists I rep, Brooklyn based selector GILLY.
We met through one of my best friends Jordan when I went to NYC this April for a work trip with Shannen, and at the end of my stay we were both thinking about working together. Gilly gives us a short and sweet 30 minute mix featuring music from Afronaut, Hodge, James Bangura and others. It mirrors the way Gilly talks about her music: instinctive, afro-rooted, and close to her identity.
