With ‘Storm Chaser’ – their first single post the release of the ‘Wake Your Mind’ album - still raising big room temperatures globally, EDM cosmonauts Nic Chagall and Bossi are poised to send the Fahrenheit flying again. Making its first appearance on their Trance Nation mix-comp album in 2012, ‘Crushed’ quickly became a set-request standing order for crowds at C.G. gigs. Now, with its anthem credentials already well advanced, its long awaited official release is close at hand…

Beating the remix path for the track, Comic Gate have passed ‘Crushed’s keys to underground Dutch heroes Mark Sixma and Rafaël Frost.

Premiered by Armin on ASOT of June 20th, Sixma super-charges his rework with striking rimshot percussion, festival-revving EDM FX and some seismic bass and drums. The Tilburg-based producer masterfully sets up ‘Crushed’ harmonic/euphoric interchange with some crowd-flaming modulation lines, pulling off a dazzling, head-spin top-of-the-drop moment.

Rafaël Frost crushes in both harmonic shades and electro aspects to the frontend of his version. He builds the boom-factor with big concussive tech-trance sequences; allows the pitch wheel to climb high-rise high, and with a final flourish serves ‘Crushed’s big stabbed anthemic mainline.

Next up in our moments series we are very proud to share an amazing recent LIVE set from our label bosses GMJ & Matter at the Morning After presents: Enchanted Garden Homegrown Edition from April 2021! 

This set saw the boys premiering a number of new tunes alongside many live effects & synths in the moment!

Melbourne’s GMJ (Gavin Martin) and Matter (Matty Doyle) joined forces in late 2015, a triggered recognition and magnetism for their shared perspectives and love for deep atmospheric music leading to the formation of the GMJ & Matter collaboration.
Already drawn by a respect for each others unique sound, their first meeting soon saw them in the studio crafting the acclaimed “Superposition” EP for Proton music, which was debuted at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2016 and released afterwards to big success, supported by industry heavyweights including Hernan Cattaneo and Cid Inc. This was followed by the “Osmosis / 11 moons” EP in 2017, and the “Interscope / To the Stars” EP in 2018 which further highlighted the pair's distinct and accomplished sound.
A natural synergy and seamless understanding has seen works constantly flow, with remixes for Pete K, Andre Sobota, Juan Deminicis, Nopi, Donny Carr, DJ San & Rudy UK, as well as fellow Aussies Funkform, Pantheon and David Leckenby. 2019 raised the bar higher as the duo joined forces with Funkform for a highly anticipated debut EP for the esteemed Balance Music.
Studio success translated into demand from a constantly growing number of respected festivals and clubs both locally and abroad. A debut performance at Dragon Dreaming Festival 2017 was followed soon after with support gigs for Nick Warren and Dezza, leading towards a fully live performance for Wildwood events, then on to their debut European tour in late 2019, with gigs for Progressive Astronaut in London and Replug Records 10 year anniversary at ADE in Amsterdam.
2020 has seen the conception and constant growth of the pairs “Meanwhile Recordings” imprint, which has opened to high regard throughout the industry, both as a platform for their own signature sounds, and as a home to some of the world’s finest. With many amazing artists and releases on the horizon, Meanwhile is already on the way to establishing itself as a premier force in the world of global deep progressive house.
With constant inspiration raising the heights in reflection, the future is to the stars!

'The latest release on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records is a scintillating package, which brings together two titans of the progressive scene. The EP features two progressive house legends; Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren alongside their collaborators Soundexile and Nicolas Rada. They have both remixed tracks taken from the most recent Hicky & Kalo EP 'Borealis'.

It's been quite a ride for Hicky & Kalo in the last 18 months. The young duo have made a name for themselves in the progressive house scene with a string of quality releases, including a collaboration with Seth Schwarz and releases on Hernan Cattaneo's label Sudbeat and Cid Inc's label Replug. In the meantime, they were remixed by both Rodriguez Jr. and Sahar Z. The reaction to their latest EP 'Borealis' was quite something and the title track was even in the Top 100 Beatport Progressive House for 67 days.

With this powerhouse remix EP now on the way, it is surely the cherry on top of a momentous last 18 months. We hope you enjoy it!'

It's that time of the year again! October, which means it's normally time for the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the most important event in the world concerning our style of electronic music. But after the cancellation of last year due to the global pandemic, at the moment we are writing this press release it is still unclear if the edition of this year will go ahead or not for that same reason... But just a last year the virus will not stop us from releasing our annual ADE Sampler which has become more than a yearly tradition!

On our ADE2021 release called "Amsterdam 2021" we showcase once again some of our talents to the world: we present you 10 brand-new exclusive tracks, covering the full spectrum from deep Progressive House to peaktime Melodic Techno. There are not less than 7 new tracks from Chrom core members: our label manager Pedro Mercado and Karada, Fernando Lagreca, Qarrassa, Christian Bonori, The Note V, Alex Sharp and Aves Volare who teams up for this occassion with ANMA. A series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.

With ‘Storm Chaser’ – their first single post the release of the ‘Wake Your Mind’ album - still raising big room temperatures globally, EDM cosmonauts Nic Chagall and Bossi are poised to send the Fahrenheit flying again. Making its first appearance on their Trance Nation mix-comp album in 2012, ‘Crushed’ quickly became a set-request standing order for crowds at C.G. gigs. Now, with its anthem credentials already well advanced, its long awaited official release is close at hand…  

Beating a path to the track’s full promo, Comic Gate have passed ‘Crushed’s remix keys to underground hero Mark Sixma, who’s constructed a towering rebuild. He’s super-charged his ‘Crushed’ rework with striking rimshot percussion, festival-revving EDM FX and some seismic bass and drums. The Tilburg-based producer masterfully sets up ‘Crushed’ harmonic/euphoric interchange with some crowd-flaming pitch bends, pulling off a dazzling, head-spin top-of-the-drop moment.
