Uman's débuta au milieu des années 80 avec des synthétiseurs analogiques avant de se mettre progressivement à la musique par ordinateur. Avec plus de 600 morceaux à son actif, il se dit pourtant plus volontiers technicien que musicien. Le style de ses compostions est particulier et original, loin des standards connus desquels il s'éloigne. Sa musique est complexe et plus cérébrale que purement musicale. Chaque morceau annonce l'humeur du jour. Vous voilà prévenus ! Depuis maintenant environ 10 ans, Uman'S  ne compose plus que très occasionnellement.
