Ubik is a DJ and curator known for his open-minded approach to music and his decade-long commitment to ecological and social causes. Formerly the artistic director of Sarcus Festival, he now performs with the Sarcus Soundsystem, captivating audiences with hypnotic dub, electro, bass, and techno. As a programmer for Badaboum and the Hey Stranger! series, he blends post-punk, dub, ambient, and IDM influences. Drawn to outdoor festivals and intimate events, Ubik creates immersive experiences for diverse audiences.

hello world! I'm so stoked to share my first EP as bad opera. 'bad art' features 5 tracks with my atmospheric and musical spin on footwork, jungle, breaks, and a little bit of IDM for good measure. This is a sound I've been pursuing for a long time, and after many experiments, studies, and learnings, I'm excited to have something that I feel is finally ready to share with the world.
