GnB for Greatness and Beyond or Garvie and Brent is 2/3 of the Cebuano Hip-Hop group "Konigs" who made a mark in the Philippine Hip Hop scene with their album "Nganong ni Enter" with the hit song of the same title. The said album gained popularity through its nationwide distribution under Alpha Music Corporation/Alpha Records released under the independent record label 6000 Goonz in 2005. It all started when Garvie (David Gabriel Enage) and Brent (Michael Brent Obaob) got a word from Prodigal Son (Kai Maningo) that he would be coming home to the Philippines from the U.S. with a couple of beats and a plan to build his own studio. The three then decided to create tracks with producer/beat maker De Loop (John Paul Quito) the man behind the "Enteng Kabisote 2" sound track and Murda(Newton Caballero Jr.) one of the newest and hottest beat maker in Cebu City. Known for their innovative flow, lyrical masterpieces, and catchy punch lines showcased in their "Nganong ni Enter" album (with Naw-T-Dog as the group Konigs) they also appeared/featured on other artists' albums such as Dice and K9/Mobbstarr's "The Journey". Now, the duo will continue to spread good music with positive messages in their upcoming album "Greatness and Beyond". Expect to hear alternative Hip-Hop at its finest with tracks like "U Alone", "The Rise”, “All of My Life" and more, from one of the country's upcoming Cebuano talents "GnB"
