WHEN SAINTS GO MACHINE: "CHURCH AND LAW" (FCAN REMIX)

I've made an EP of song demoes every year since 2009. This is the one for 2012 – The second one to go under the alias The Milk Run. I suppose they all ended up being kind of 80s this time.

All songs are written, recorder and performed by me.
I'd like you to have them.

The title is inspired by this book which I encourage everyone to read. It's about about a princess who falls in love with a guy who likes to blow stuff up.

I don't know who took the cover image. It's of an atomic explosion so I imagine it's owned by a nuclear superpower. Probably one we've heard of. I hope that now with the Cold War over, beautiful nuclear bomb explosions can be the property of everyone.

The lyrics are for a change something I've actually enjoyed writing. I'm no Shakespear, I know, but there's some stuff in there that I enjoy.

Based on a nineties nostalgia, songwriter Kristian Rasmussen has created a universe of catchy, dreamy, indie rock. 

Melancholic, noisy guitars are never far away, but in the lightness of the beautiful melodies lies the promise of the good life and a sense of belonging - only really lost, if you don't join in. 

That's the gold the band Go for Gold is digging for in their debut EP. Gold lies in the attempts to live the good life.
