Biography
On the 20th March 2011, as he sat on his bed staring at his ceiling Chris jumped up and made a phone call. ''Alright mate its Jonesy. I've been having a think... Do you wana start a band?'' There was a slight pause, to which Jon then replied '' haha definatley mate.'' Jon and Chris previously had been working together on some music projects. After various developments, the project was taken to the... next step and it became Go-Zilla. The next coming months both Chris and Jon wrote several early demo's and it was on the 10th May 2011 that their friend Glenn became Go-Zilla's perminant drummer, turning the trance rock outfit into a three piece.

''It was just the right fit'' Chris says "I was brought up thanks to my parents being surrounded by all genres of music. i just remember being a kid, watching top of the pops 2 with the likes of Sweet, The Stranglers, Thin Lizzy and being fascinated. My dad taught me guitar and i practiced everyday until my fingers were sore. As i became older i listened to more varied music from metal and rock to folk, dance and dubstep. We, as a band, are all inspired by acts such as Skrillex, Progidy and Pendulum and the way they mix dance with rock. We absolutely love it. Everything just seemed to work whenever we got together throwing these ideas around.''

After the great reception the early demo's received, Go-Zilla started to write their first mini album in early July 2011. ''I'm really proud of this album,'' Jon says. ''We've had fun and we thought a lot about crowd interaction when writing each song. When these tracks are played live we want the audience to feel apart of it, to be able to dance and sing with all their might. Its all about having as much fun listening to it as we had making it. This is what its all about.'' The album was completed November the 1st 2011 and is set to be released in February 2012 with a gig launch coinciding.

As well as recording Go-Zilla have been filming throughout. ''We felt this was important to the fans,'' Says Glenn. "We'll be making video blogs of recordings, gigs, tours etc and they will be uploaded on the sites. It shows how much of a blast we had making this album, being around each other and meeting the fans that make it all that much more special. We want everyone to get a different angle of tracks from these videos and give you a front row ticket of the thought processes and development that makes up Go-Zilla.''

Go-Zilla will be doing a select few gigs in November and december 2011 before the official album launch in February 2012.
