Rasmus Bendtsen (better known as Bendtsen) is a DJ/Producer and Label Owner born in Denmark. Bendtsen begins his electronic music journey in 2014 after getting picked up SoundCloud by one of Copenhagen’s biggest party organizers. Shortly thereafter he played his first gig at the legendary Copenhagen club KB18. Not long after his first steps as a performer, Bendtsen starts releasing quality underground music on significant digital labels such as Alula Tunes, Subios Records, Alpaka Music, Crypt Music, Shadow Wulf and his own imprint Kellerhobel. After successful productions released in very short term, Bendtsen makes his solid breakthrough and performs alongside artists like: Time Taste, Carbon, Joesph Disco, Kaufmann, Lampé and others. His appearance at some of the major European and Middle Eastern clubs and events has become more prominent in the last few years and yet is more to come.

This is the first 1.5 hours of the 8 hours back 2 back set i played with my good friend and long time colleague Thomas Johanshon aka Mapusa Mapusa at the Afterparty of the legendary 'Hai in den Mai Festival 2024' at Waldfrieden. 
Right from the start we got into a great flow and played strictly one track each, without the need to communicate what to play next or where we wanna go musicwise ... the vast experience of two 'veterans' with a similar musical background, led through a night of fun, joy and smoking dancing shoes ;) We loved it, the crowd loved it and hopefuly you will love this set too ... enjoy :)

... dies ist das opening Mix Set mit welchen ich Gestern im Schlaflos Club den Dachstock eröffnet habe. Es ist ein sehr Melodiös, Bass haltiges, ein gut Treibendes und Tanzbares Mix Set welches mit Melodic Techno beginnt, immer treibender wird und dann im Progi mündet.  ... Ich kann für mich sagen das dieses Set definitiv ein Hilight 2024 ist.

Schon Ende der 90er Jahre hatte er seinen ersten Kontakt mit elektronischer Musik, war schon bei der ersten Love Parade mit dabei und hat zu dieser Zeit auch begonnen mit Vinyl aufzulegen. Wegen einer langen Krankheit war er quasi 15 Jahre komplett raus aus der Szene bis er 2016 seine Liebe zu Psytrance wieder entdeckte. 
Schnell begann er wieder hinter den Turntables zu stehen und eignete sich den Digitalen Weg des Mixens an. Seit Mitte 2018 hat er auch regelmäßig Bookings und hat in Clubs wie KitKat Club, Weißer Hase, Velvet Monkey, auf Psycedelic Theatre Events, der Goanautica und vielen anderen verschiedenen Veranstaltungen, so wie bundesweiten Festivals aufgelegt. 
Seit Anfang 2021 moderiert er erfolgreich monatlich "Psytrance Spaceship" auf DeeRedRadio und stellt DJs und Psytrance-Genres vor. 
Sein Stil ist melodisch progressiver Psytrance mit Story und einer fetten Bassline.
