I had written another song prior to this one that had me in my head for a couple weeks before I decided I wanted to write something pretty. Something happy. Something for Annie. Something for all of us that we can remember when the time comes and takes what belongs to it. 

Nat & I have had plenty of times when life was not so much roses more than it was thorns. Right now, I feel like we are in bloom.

This track makes me so happy to be who I am today. I am so proud of myself, and not only that but the family I have & the environment we have created to support & love one another. It also makes me emotional. I've been hitting a streak of tearjerkers lately.
