Falling Down is this idea of writing a song as a fictional journal entry to myself about something that scares me in an attempt to overcome it. The repeated lyric of “I’m Falling Down, I’m Falling Down Again,” is a mantra that I repeat to myself a lot, telling myself that through struggle comes the best things. Rather than being demoralized by something that keeps knocking me over, I want to embrace the fact that through time, this struggle is the only way to produce great work.
