A cover version of "To the Hilt" from Die Krupps. Vocals by H. 

In my first band, we played this cover version and after a Die Krupps concert I thought it would be nice to record it again after 20 years. Johannes Resetar was so nice to provide the vocals (as he has done in the band before). 

Created on Ubuntu Studio with Ardour, DrumGizmo, ZynAddSubFX, Zebra2, and an Ibanez RG into a Line6 Helix and a AKG MXL-900 for the vocals.
Mixed with Calf Plugins, LSP plugins, OvertoneDSP plugins, TDR plugins

Recorded, mixed and mastered exclusively on Linux.

To the Hilt (Die Krupps Cover feat. H)

Cover of Darkest Hours's Convalescence. This was just a quick recording within 3 days to see if there is progress during my screaming vocal lessons. So, no time to learn the guitar solo (sorry!). If somebody would be willing to donate the solo, this would be great!

Drums taken from tab at ultimate-guitar.com and extracted with tuxguitar. Edited in Ardour, with DrumGizmo and the Crocell drumkit.
