godwana emerged as a phonic misreading of the super-continent that formed after the Neoproterozoic, and names a duo initiated by Robert Blaj (drums) and Sergiu Nisioi (synth). Their musical paradigm is based on noise textures and rhythmic inflections that investigate geomorphological shapes, tectonic noises, and pluri-organic sonorities. As main research and political topics that the group investigates are not only the history of terraformation, but also the current ecological drifts and the future imminence of species extinction.
