He has spent countless hours developing his style behind the scenes, while immersing himself in the city’s techno scene and drawing inspiration from the long, entrancing DJ sets that reflect the endless Berlin weekends. In his sets, Makovian blends deep grooves, hypnotic melodies, and atmospheric textures, creating journeys for the dance floor that are captivating and carry a powerful emotional charge. 
Continuously trying to evolve and refine his sound, Makovian is an artist to watch in the future.

Showcasing your musical taste in an hour is impossible. And chosing one path for a mix means deciding against all the other paths. 
So in this mix I tried to show parts of my music collection that didn’t shine through my other mixes I recorded so far.

"The formidable Out Of Order series returns to Hudd Traxx with 3 deep house bombs. DFRA teams up with the one and only Diamondancer of Delano Smiths Message For A DJ fame. DFRA lays down slick beats with a heavy bassline accompanied by the lush vocals of Diamondancer to deliver a sure fire future hit. Bs As Deep drops a slick Afro Beat Dub for a bonus mix. Professional Gigolo returns to Hudd for his 3rd release with For The Lovers, another classic in the making. Mexican artist Pinto steps things up with a techny number entitled Jaxx. JT Donaldson (who made his Hudd debut in 2007) ties things up in his usual classy way with a slice of house perfection with How I Feel (Dub). The lush keys on this were played by JTs super talented friend Jordan JoJo Walker who is sadly no longer with us. This release is dedicated to him, rest in peace brother x"

The deep, brooding themes that define his progressive trance project, Ambler, are here explored in a slower, more spacious style. Biomass inhabits the grey areas between psychedelic and progressive, gruelling and groovy, daytime and nighttime. This mix showcases his debut EP, Grey Areas, along with a cohort of more recent and unreleased tunes including collaborations with Axon and Techgnosis label boss Ben Rama. Enjoy.
