A little satirical nonsense about how our politicians speak to their long suffering voters …so lets dance the “Three Line Whip”…

Theres’s artistry in politics, beyond the lies and dirty tricks
And paths to power through ivy schools, and Law degrees and intern pools
See you gotta learn to communicate, in ways us simple folk relate 
And you only need to count to three - and build it incrementally!

[TWO] Next find some common story we might buy
[THREE] Then stitch the pitch to things you do – might not be relevant (or even half true!) , but you always gotta end it with “That’s why…”

Now I know you think we peeps ain’t bright, whereas you’re mental dynamite 
So it’s “Build Back Better” n “Fix Foundations”, all jazzed up with alliteration  
But the Three Line Whip only works this way, if we don’t know what your gonna say
Cos then instead of looking slick, well its just a ten cent party trick!

 And you’d think you’d say why you should stay but no you point the other way  
I know we’re crap but the other guy’s worse -  Don’t trust them with the public purse!

The Three Line Whip

What a great place Soundcloud is !  I can honestly say I never imagined there were so many talented and generous artists, composers and producers,  to be found in one place!  It's been my very great pleasure to meet and collaborate with some of you, already, out there in the WWW,  and I hope many more in the future! 

I've written and recorded music since I was a teenager  (... that's a long time ago!!) and about half the tracks posted here are purely my own work. I also experimented, for a while,  with A.I. supported music, which I used to help build up a Sci Fi "concept album" (for those that remember them!) titled "Stories of Stardust", released 26th Feb 2025.  

A.I music can be a divisive topic, but I've no wish to use it as a replacement for human musical talent, and going forward I'm back to  working  with real people again. That's where the magic is to be found!  

Which brings me to....
