As OceanLab, Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa have had an incredible year. Their debut album "Sirens Of The Sea" gained widespread critical acclaim, including glowing reviews from Mixmag, DJ Magazine, M8 and IDJ. 

Now they return to close 2008 with "Breaking Ties", their third single from the album. First to the remix platform and fresh from their success in DJ Magazine's Top 100 poll where they achieved the highest British entry at No.4, are Above & Beyond themselves, who have produced a truly sublime club re-work with their "Analogue Haven Mix". Demand for this remix has been off the scale since it made its debut on Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats Volume Six compilation. 

On the b-side of the vinyl release we have a remix from star German producer Martin Roth who delivers his own unique sound once more. Mr Roth is no stranger to remixing OceanLab releases having worked with them on their last single "Miracle".  This mix builds up gradually, first paying homage to the dreamy vocals of Justine Suissa before dropping in the familiar Roth beats. 

To complete the CD and Digital package we have a masterful techy remix from Duderstadt, a deep and melodic Maor Levi remix and a fantastic progressive rework from Jaytech and James Grant, who prove themselves to be a production duo to be reckoned with. There really is something for everyone in this package.

OceanLab’s ‘On A Good Day’ originally featured on the 2008 LP ‘Sirens Of The Sea’, an album that reached #1 in the US iTunes dance chart, and was lauded in respected publications such as Mixmag and DJ Magazine. 

‘On A Good Day’ remained a firm favourite in the sets of Above &amp; Beyond – eventually receiving another lease of life when its vocals were married with Gareth Emery’s ‘Metropolis’ as a DJ bootleg by Hungarian duo Myon &amp; Shane 54.

After picking up mainstream radio support from Radio 1, ‘On A Good Day (Metropolis)’ is now being released alongside a drum &amp; bass rework from scene stalwarts J Majik and Wickaman (known for their uplifting, club-smashing remix of Deadmau5’s chart hit ‘I Remember’), which has already been hammered by Andy C, Chrissy Chris (1 Xtra), Radio 1’s Grooverider, Hype, Judge Jules and Adam F. A previously unreleased acoustic version will feature as iTunes exclusive track.

Tapping into the vocal’s narrative of triumph over adversity, the official music video centres on the story of Detroit’s Georgia Street Community Collective, and their drive to regenerate the derelict buildings and industrial graveyards of Detroit and transform them into urban farms and community gardens.

Igal Gofman & Michael Tsukerman are the names behind the Israeli duo – Gofman & Tsukerman. The two met 10 years ago and discovered that they both share huge passion for electronic music – a passion that in time will bring them to produce music together.

Michael (1982) has been producing music since he was just 14 years old. As a child he discovered his big passion for music and was influenced by artists like Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd & Queen. He discovered trance when he was 12 years old and instantly fell in love, producing his own tracks was only a matter of time, and 2 years later he already started working on his own tracks. His first breakthrough came in 2003 when he released his first track “The rise of nations” under the German label “Drizzly”. The track was a big success on the dance floors around the world and introduced his name to the global trance scene.

Later on tracks like “Memories from the future”, “My name is sawtooth”, “Are you mad” & “Tel Aviv” were played by the biggest names in the industry including Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Cosmic Gate & many more.

His latest track “Sivan” has left quite an impression on Armin Van Buuren and was selected to appear on the highly acclaimed “A state of trance 2009″ compilation.

Michael has also a monthly radio show on sense.fm radio station called “Music Refinery” where he delivers each month a 2 Hour DJ set for many of his listeners.

The other half of the duo is Igal Gofman (1984). Igal has been listening to music since he can remember himself – growing up on artists like Michael Jackson, Daft Punk & the Prodigy – he knew that producing music was his future and what he wanted to do most.

At the age of 16 after saving some money he finally bought his own equipment and started working on his dj’ing skills playing on both vinyl’s & cd’s. Eventually his love for music brought him to start producing his own tracks and after few years of producing various styles of electronic music, he decided to expand his technical knowledge and skills and went to the Israeli college for sound & music – BPM.

2008 was the year Michael and Igal decided to join forces and started producing music together under the alias “Gofman & Tsukerman”. Michael’s love for trance and and Igal’s house influences generated their unique and original fusion of styles.

In 2010, after a lot of work their first EP “One way back” was released on Armada’s sub-label Pilot 6 and was supported by Armin Van Buuren on his weekly radio show – “A state of trance”. Later on they released their second EP – “Ethnica” – with their new and familiar sound.

This year is looking very busy for this duo as they are currently working on numerous projects planned for the near future. We suggest you keep your eyes open out for them as many new materials are waiting to be released!
