One might say that LA/Sydney based collective Playmode are "on the up." After the success of their first Club Sweat Ep with Ultrasonic becoming a tune that had spins from Pete Tong to Amine Edge, and well known enough to have girls on the Gold Coast singing the words, they followed this release up with "Not Hit Enough" their collab with Jesse Rose which hit Beatport's Top 5 tech house tunes and stayed in the Top 10 for 2 months. 

They have forthcoming Eps on Play It Down and Snatch! and remixes for Nurvous, Play it Down and Kling Klong so it was a warm and fuzzy feel when they sent us this EP and said here's our follow up to Ultrasonic. 

Let's not mention that I had been hassling the shit out of them ever since the last Ep to get a follow up but rather, focus on the fact that it's now here in your possession. Kinda like watching a movie. You never have to worry about the rehearsals and auditions and call backs. 

But you should definitely check this movie - this is A class house music for lovers.

We ALL know how hard it can be to find a good top line, right? Ads in the white pages….pleas for help on Facebook…….etc etc 

But in true Club Sweat spirit, this stalwart of the Melbourne (cool) club scene, jacked a sample of a baby crying and turned it into one of the hookiest, quirkiest party tech tunes we've had the pleasure of releasing, funnily enough, called "Cry Baby.". 

And the b side, "You Don't Call Me" - another party tech-bomb - may or may not be the pained longings of the vocalist he never called when he didn't reply to the ad he never placed. 

Either way, we're just paying royalties to Mike and thanking him for the dope tunes.
