I grew up on nirvana. Kurt Cobain was one of the first songwriters that really showed me the power of metaphor. Heart snapped box is one of my favorite songs of all time and I really wanted to put my own spin on it and cover it in a way that sonically embodies the inner conflict and conversation of a toxic romance: passionate, yet discordant.
