Hello, friends. 

 Welcome back to our music chamber.
We have a new track for you. ‘Nocturnalis’.
It was improvised freely by David Nelson and I and 
recorded on Jan 21, 2025 in Mamaroneck NY.

  A week later my computer crashed and all this data was lost and eventually recovered (whew!-thanks to the glorious and gifted geeks of BestBuy’s Geek Squad) . There was a lot of nail-biting in February, and I completed the editing in early March. 

 Today’s release is timed to coincide with a commemoration of Bela Bartok’s 144th birthday. Ever since my music teacher Irwin Stahl introduced me to Bartok, this music has been commanding prime real estate in my ear.
The current track is not by Bartok, per se, but his influence is in my blood, having steeped myself in the study and adulation of his entire oeuvre since 1977. If you are not familiar with his works, here are a few timeless gems;

 So, here is the opening track, ‘Nocturnalis’ from Duo Treason’s 11th album, “Soon to be Titled”. You may or may not detect Bartok’s influence, it’s subtle. It lurks in the shadows.

Money really is the route of our evil. In this song I made a nice connection with Earth having never really had anything to do with money. It doesn't give a shit what we do but it will cycle and change to rebalance based on what we do...

Money is really the poison of our spirits. Or at least because it's so attached to materialism then way too many of us wake up and go asleep and in-between.. just work for money...

We've created this amazing. tool called AI which we are being sold as making our lives better.. ok how? There's enough money in the world to feed everyone... we now have this amazing AI to do all that work... So where's the lifestyle shift coming from towards the greater good. It's bullshit because the top 1% of the capitalistic shit heap will benefit from AI and people won't unless we demand that. Meanwhile most get tunnel visioned programming it with LLMs making it easier for that top 1% to manipulate the situation...


Where are people doing whatever they want more with their own lives... Not seeing enough of it yet but I'm hoping we get there... Like poisonous ideas latch on quickly... Positive ones should too when enough people latch onto them and project that. We learn empathy from each other according to emotional intelligence experts so maybe we have to stop projecting how fucked the world is and start amplifying the little bits of light that make it amazing and give us a future ♻️
