We've not had an 'artist' mix for a while. 

We decided to do something about that. 

COSMIC HANDSHAKES hail from deepest Detroit, MI.

Made up of 2 friends and producers, namely - Todd Modes & Blair French - Cosmic Handshakes music takes in Ambient, Disco, House, Afro, House & various other electronics. Both Todd & Blair have been involved in music for pretty much their whole lives, as DJ's, diggers, producers, label owners and even delving into some MC-ing. There is a heavy 'LIVE' element to what they do, and this will all become completely obvious once their mini-LP / extended EP 'In The Mist' drops on Going Good very soon (GOOD-12). To say we're excited about this project finally coming out is an understatement. We've been listening to it privately now for the best part of a year and we're hugely into it. We hope all of you will too! We feel it's one of the best records the label has been involved in, it's truly immense.

Whilst he's most famous for his record sleeve designs he's also an avid and extensive record collector. Here he treats us to a beautifully soothing sonic waltz encompassing weirdo ambient jazz, new age, tropical folk & experimental synth-pop, featuring records spanning half a century and from artists all over the globe.
