We also hear from jockey Ross Coakley who won his first Group race at Baden Baden yesterday but was handed a twenty-three day ban for over use of the whip in doing so.

Owen Burrows gives an update on the wellbeing of Minzaal, "jarred up after his win in the Haydock Sprint Cup, while Nick and Dave also remember Coroebus, who suffered a fatal injury at Longchamp on Sunday, look back at the Grosser Preis von Baden and Frankie Dettori's hefty whip ban, and examine an interesting new appointment at the British Horseracing Authority.

I came across an interesting quote made last month by a retired Israeli major general named Yitzhak Brick about the ongoing IDF assault on Gaza.

"All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision-guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it's all from the U.S.," Brick said. "The minute they turn off the tap, you can't keep fighting. You have no capability. … Everyone understands that we can't fight this war without the United States. Period."

"I'm not so sure about the Child-Killing Murder Robot," Joe said after a sip of coffee while reading the morning paper.

"What??" his wife Anne exclaimed, visibly shocked.

"It's killed thousands of kids in its latest murder rampage," Joe said. "I'm starting to think maybe the Child-Killing Murder Robot isn't such a great thing after all."

A Washington Post investigative report into Israel's attack on al-Shifa Hospital has found that "the evidence presented by the Israeli government falls short of showing that Hamas had been using the hospital as a command and control center." The Post reports it came to this conclusion after "analysis of open-source visuals, satellite imagery and all of the publicly released IDF materials."

At this point the default assumption of any thinking person should be that all claims made by Israel are lies until proven otherwise by mountains of rock-solid evidence.
