Ovaj bestseler, prema kome se priprema i igrana serija, zasnovan je na istinitom slučaju sudijine oslobađajuće presude za prestupnika, u slučaju prinudnog braka romske devojčice od trinaest i po godina i romskog muškarca od 22, koja je izazvala velike polemike u javnosti, označena kao rasistička kultur-fašistička i neokolonijalna, posebno zbog ponižavajućeg odnosa Sudskog veća prema Romima. Majić je autor idiosinkratskog stila, pisac koji objavljuje rat sintaksi, a koga su napali pridevi i prilozi, kao i apstraktne i gradivne imenice, da ga udave i sa kojima se kroz čitavu knjigu nasmrt rve. Sama knjiga je amalgam auto-fan fikcije, trilera i proceduralnog romana, a negde između "Hajdi" i "Borata".
