A bit about Dr. Carla Marie Manly....
Clinical psychologist! Author! Speaker! It's her life's passion to create greater overall wellness in our world. Through her unique approach of blending depth psychology, CBT, and somatic therapy, she works with clients to address the underlying causes of their symptoms. In understanding that the body, mind, and spirit work in concert with each other to create wellness, this approach acknowledges that poor health often results from a lack of balance between these components. Dr Manly finds great joy in helping clients achieve the self-awareness and understanding that leads to wellness, joy and fulfillment.

Dr. Manly's love for the field of psychology--for engaging with and helping others--has been a constant aspect of her life. Her early adult years was focused on children's education and on career counseling. Following a brief enrollment at Hasting Law School in San Francisco, she returned to Sonoma County to obtain her master's degree in counseling and later earned a doctorate in clinical psychology. With a wealth of business and personal experience to enhance her work, she enjoys various roles as clinician, author, and advocate. Whether working with adolescents in crisis, young adults on the verge of opening new doors, or older adults facing life transitions, Dr. Manly embraces the opportunity to aid others in facing life's many challenges. Beyond offering individual and group psychotherapy services, she has highly invested in writing and speaking to create greater wellness in the local community and beyond.

She greatly enjoys working with couples on relationship issues and individuals facing challenging life transitions. Her work also focuses on anxiety, grief, trauma, and PTSD. Skilled in EMDR, she offers this service to individual clients to further healing from trauma, anxiety, and core self-esteem issues. Dr Manly also specialize in sexual issues, including sexual abuse, gender identity, pornography addiction, and relationship sexuality.
