My live set recording from Fusion Festival 2022

This was a mesmerising and emotional evening surrounded by friends and a simply beautiful & open minded crowd in Bachstelzen (Velvet Soup). 

This set is comprised of new & old unplayed material, and sound experiments I created in the build up to Fusion.

I want to say thank you to everyone, you made me feel something intense on this evening, returning home was never harder, and I'll never forget it.

Here's the live recording of my breakfast set from the 2B1 gathering out in the middle of the Mojave Desert, CA. The hot sun was shining over this set from 8am-11:30am. Hope you feel some of the desert vibes from that very special morning.

Premiere: Shkoon - Ala Moj Al Bahr (Goldcap Remix) [Underyourskin]

In 2014, i spent my first Burning Man sunrise aboard the legendary Robot Heart bus. To me, it might as well have been Shangri La... 

As i looked outwards to the horizon during the peak of the sunrise in amazement, I glanced over to my good friend and told him that I would not die happily until i had the opportunity to play the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man. 

I'm truly humbled and honored to now have the amazing RH team present you with my set from the Tuesday late night hours. The set begins just as the bus parked itself in deep playa. So i had a special opportunity to welcome everyone who drove, biked, and walked over to the middle of nowhere to experience the nightly musical offerings. 

With that said, I truly hope you enjoy this experience I was grateful to share with the Robot Heart family and the countless people in attendance.

Art: Jar of Sand - Trish Dolman and friends

Jar of Sand is a large-scale (8′ tall x 4′ diameter) canning-style “glass” jar filled with plastic collected from beaches of the Pacific Northwest. By engaging people to clean up our oceans, Jar of Sand intends to create awareness and encourage action. Domestic garbage and pieces of garbage from the Pacific Trash Vortex—the massive island of floating trash—are carried across oceans and wind up on our shores, telling a story of resource extraction, production, and consumption. In this time of climate change and excessive use of fossil fuels, this art installation is a reflection and commentary on our plastic consumption and ultimately unsustainable waste. Participants are welcome to bring plastic that they have collected from the ocean and beaches to the playa and put them in the Jar. The collected plastic will be creatively layered in an over-height custom fabricated jar that will be displayed at Burning Man .

Kasheme is definitely one of those performances I look forward to every year. Mostly because they allow me to play absolutely anything i see fit.

This Zurich based family started me out in their apartment living room 3 years ago with only a handful of people joining me for the journey. This year I joined them in their new location; a bar/cafe/record store. 

Once again, only an intimate group of people were able to join us. As we were all sat, or laying on comfortable couches and pillows, silence took the room and we began to share a very special night together. 

Myself, being a fan of diverse music from many genres, decades, and countries, I am always honored to share that other side of my collection with an open minded audience.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this selection of music which is a very small portion of what I listen to on my day to day.

'hmmm' is the live ambient project of myself and @harrycharles. We performed it for the first time this year - along with a DJ set - on Sunday morning at the Ambient Floor at Garbicz. 

Poetry & music written by @lemonella & @harrycharles, produced by Harry, and featuring @cesarbmusic on trombone. The lyrics in the final poem of the live set are taken from the late American folk musician, Jackson C. Frank.

@Mattmosphere and Love Foundation that is a love affair that has been going on for a while. It all started with a romantic weekend in Vienna beginning 2018, sparks were flying and a second weekend getaway was planned together. This time outside and in the slightly smaller mountains of the Netherlands, in Limburg.

After that it was clear that both parties are ready for the next step and a fusion of the @drosssel and Love Foundation family with a 48 hour rave weekend in Mensch Meier in Berlin, was the logical conclusion in summer 2019.

Now we are limited to online dating, but Matt knows how to play that game as well and the set that he recorded for us, hits us right in the heart. Be ready for an hour full of emotions and a special kind of journey that only Matt knows how to take you on. 

We love you Matt and we look already forward to the next gathering in real life together.
