Each day and night are different, the people, the mood, the emotions... This was planed to be an emotional freedom ride but life is not always happening the way it is planed. So the result of this session is an "emotional ride". Openness is the key and accepting the situation as it is, seeing the good in it, seeing the opportunity to learn and grow... The night of 14.12.2024 was an emotional ride and so was the whole year. I am thankful for each lesson I've learned and there were many! Thankful for every night I was invited to my beloved Kasheme to express my emotions with music. Thankful for the people I've met and who understand what story I am trying to tell... And yes the cover picture is on purpose because seeing life from another perspecitve sometimes can help ;-) wishing you a happy ending of 2024 and a good start into a transformative new year! Let's do this!

From an early age on Joaquin Joe Claussell’s favorite time was devoted to listening to music.

Claussell began to periodically transform his childhood bedroom into a sound vessel in which he and his brother Jose were taken on trips to other worlds and galaxies.

A few years ago, Claussell created a 2-hour radio session and extended „An Invitation to Openness“ to anyone interested in audibly visiting his listening chamber-filled with an immerse library of sounds and rhythms deeply rooted in eclectic genres of music.

„An Invitation To Openness“ is simply an alternate channel that can be opened by anyone who has the capacity to listen in the way of putting their ego aside and simply allow their senses to engage into something different.

Laraaji is a New York-based musician and sonic mystic renowned for his ethereal, zither-driven ambient soundscapes. He first gained widespread recognition with his 1980 album Ambient 3: Day of Radiance, produced by Brian Eno as part of Eno’s influential Ambient series. Blending elements of Eastern mysticism, drone, and transcendental meditation, Laraaji’s improvisational style has made his music a cornerstone of the ambient and healing music community. Rooted in joy and mindfulness, his deep spiritual philosophy extends beyond music to transformative practices like laughter meditation, sound healing and yoga. With his uplifting presence, Laraaji continues to inspire and elevate listeners worldwide.
In our conversation, Laraaji explores why sound is a deeply spiritual experience and shares the story of how he discovered the zither, the instrument that would become his signature.

His passion for jazz catapulted him into the spotlight as one half of the iconic mixtape and DJ duo, Kon & Amir. With his own label, 180-Proof Records, founded in 2011, he further solidified his place in the music industry and continues to push the boundaries of adventurous music, uncovering forgotten artists and sounds ever since. He recently executive produced Strata Records – The Sound of Detroit, reimagined by Jazzanova, a project that highlights his expertise and dedication to preserving musical history and fostering education.
In this conversation, DJ Amir talks about his profound connection to Hip Hop and lets us in on his exciting upcoming projects and collaborations.

Ajele is a Swiss-Ghanaian DJ who has been shaping the sound of Zurich's electronic music scene since the mid-90s. 
What struck her early on was the noticeable absence of women behind the decks. Determined to change that narrative, she bought her first records, a pair of turntables, and a mixer. Digging for vinyl became an obsession, and playing them turned into a lifelong passion.
Since 1996, Ajele has been an integral part of Zurich’s nightlife, known for her versatility and deep musical knowledge. Her sound moves effortlessly through house, breakbeats, drum and bass, techno,  jazz and more—always guided by instinct, emotion, and a firm belief that music knows no boundaries. Her solid and ever-evolving style has earned her countless opportunities to open nights, setting the tone with grace, groove, and intent.
With three decades of dedication to her craft, Ajele continues to inspire and uplift dance floors through her sets and presence.
