Its Friday night and we set sail on our bikes to find Robot Heart deep Playa. Once we arrived we landed on the bus with a view of the moon just peaking over the horizon. Slowly it starts to rise and it gets bigger with every step up, reaching for the sky. Blood orange, some of us were confused, was this the moon? This was the biggest I'd ever seen her and as soon as I saw this magnificent sight, something came over me…. just let myself go. This may be, the Soul of the World.

Holosound (aka Alex Fish) is a DJ/Producer from NYC that’s been at it since 2004. The past decade+ has seen him dot the globe with appearances in over 23 countries, every major city in the US and release records and remixes on labels like Nurvous, HNQO’s Playperview, Glasgow Underground and (a long time ago) Ultra.

His sound has evolved over the years but has always maintained a subversively sexy vibe that’s built on a bed of afro and deep house as well as melodic techno.  Notable gigs in the last few years include Gazgolder in Moscow, D-Edge in Sao Paolo, Tulum, Helsinki, Rio De Janeiro, Dubai, Bogota, Kazantip festival for Flying Circus, London, Medellin, Panama City, Quito as well as appearances at Burning Man for Robot Heart and many more.

History of October
October always had 31 days, and it became the tenth month of the year when the months of January and February were added, pushing October towards the end of the solar year, which is around 365.24 days long.

The Julian was substituted for the Gregorian calendar because it did not reflect the length of a year on Earth accurately enough. Today's Gregorian calendar does a much better job at keeping up with our planet's revolutions around the Sun, but even this calendar is not perfect.

Fall and Spring Month
October is in the fall in the Northern Hemisphere, the month after the autumnal equinox. However, as seasons are opposite on either side of the equator, October is in the spring in the Southern Hemisphere. The seasonal equivalent is April in the opposite hemisphere.

The month of October starts on the same day of the week as January in common years, but during leap years, October does not start on the same day of the week as any other month. It ends on the same day of the week as February every year and January in common years only.

October's birth flower is the calendula. The birthstone for October is the opal and it is said that the opal will crack if worn by someone who is not born in October.

Possibly THE most powerful factor of Burning Man is that we all get covered with the same dust and the same great challenges to truly BE present. Black Rock City and her elements are bigger than any of us, ALL OF US, and she has something to show you.  It is not until you're stripped away from your comfort and 'normalcy' that we become truly one.  Infusion of music and the many sacred spaces connect us. Suddenly, all that was designed to make us feel divided comes crashing down; blurred into total insignificance, as the moments grow increasingly PURE and RAW, give us unlimited POTENTIAL.  

This same wakeup call is happening for all of humanity to see and feel right now, as our Earth attempts to mend, and show us how delicate and singular we truly are as a human race.

We encourage you to use this time wisely and keep the vibrations high and the music loud.  Now, we are together more than ever, despite our physical distance. Allow yourself to reprogram to your fullest potential; resist programming.  Take notice of the air and the water clearing up all around you. “Min Q” has the oldest story of all, as this was originally  an idea I started back in 2014, when I borrowed a friends TR-8 drum machine. My idea was to make an old school electro sounding Moombahton track with Nadastrom. Matt is one half of Nadastrom, as well the mix engineer for Dubfire, and many classic Deep Dish records. I went to Matt’s (Saint Flip) studio and we laid down the initial groove, but for some reason, never came back to it. I recently found it on an old hard drive, and kept developing it. I sent the idea to Matt and he liked the progress. So, we went back and forth online, and the result is this super funky track, which to me, pays homage to our old Moombah days, but also has a nice fresh new acid dub twist. ~ SABO

New year - new set! :DDD
With this spontaneous musical journey I wish you all a loving and truthful year 2021. What exciting times...without words. In the last few months my personal musical output wasn't been really in focus as I prepared myself for a self-sufficient future. Actually, I've been waiting and preparing for this scenario for half my life. I’m very grateful and so it was a great pleasure to play a spontaneous New Year's Eve set on the beautiful Costa de la Luz - Andalusia with a small caravan-tribe after a long time of not playing live. I didn't expect it to unfold so phääät. It all felt into place so nicely... and so some happy, colorful off-grid-lovers came together and created a welcoming space. At 8pm I sat down to my promo emails, some collected songs from the past two months and went through a few unreleased Monada gems from our awesome artists and at 10pm I was ready for a completely improvised journey. I love mixing sets with tracks that are almost unknown to me, so I'm able to start completely untethered and free. Free mind - free heart!

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene. A stalwart of electronic music scene, Valeron is informed by myriad cultures and traditions both on- and off-stage.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he starts releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic/Organic genre. This carried him to become a founder of the Bercana Music label and release 2 personal albums, “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduced a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments with electronic beats.

Every Saturday since 2017, Valeron leads “Scorpios World” at Scorpios Mykonos where he performs live along diverse Greek musicians playing instruments such as the Clarinet, Kaval, Ney, Bouzouki, Cretan Lyra, Saz, Oud, Santur, Kanun and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on June 2019 he released his third personal album ‘’World’’.
