Here are a few words from the artist:

When my journey as a Dj started, my sound was a combination of smooth and melodic. Over the time I developed a more driving and spheric sound which I am now known for. 

I always want to take you on a journey which is when I am playing in front of a crowd powerful and other times when I am recording a podcast more dreamy. 

While recording this set, I wasn't thinking about creating something thats gonna be published. I just wanted to do, what I love the most. Making music and creating something that reflects my feelings at this moment. So I named this set love&joy, because that's what I felt in this beautiful 1 and a half hours. 

I hope you enjoy listening and maybe you'll also feel some of the love and joy that I put in this set and that came back to me while doing it.

Ich wünsche meinen lieben Hörern, Künstlern und Freunden ein wunderbares und gesundes 2019. Ich habe mir für 2019 viel vorgenommen … mal schauen was sich hier alles umsetzen lässt … lasst euch überraschen ;-)

Für den ersten musikalischen Sonnenaufgang dieses Jahr habe ich einen Shooting-Star aus Kanada für euch eingeladen. Die Rede ist von der bezaubernden Niki Sadeki aus Vancouver. Es ist noch nicht mal 3 Jahre her da bin ich in der Wolke über einen Podcast von Deep House Tehran gestolpert und ich fand den Sound extrem faszinierend, eigenwillig und einzigartig. Und nun speilt Niki auf Festivals und Clubs rund um die Welt … wie erst im November auf Miras legendären Geburtstagssause im Kater.

Niki’s Sound ist einfach authentisch … ich glaube das ist es auch was mich an meisten daran fasziniert. Umso mehr freut es mich das sie 2019 den musikalischen Start für meine Reihe macht. 

Niki tausend Dank für die wunderbare Reise und meinen Hörern wünsch ich nun einen guten Start ins 2019 … auf das alle eure Wünsch in Erfüllung gehen. Euer Elektro Uwe
