World of anonymous projects received Macaulay in 2013, a new producer in the electronic scene that doesn't respond to any real proper name. Part of the new record label called Exxxtra Picante, founded by La Royale (on his side projects) and Macaulay in early 2014, this national talent has work with the new and mysterious alter egos of other established artists. Behind the anonymous image ilustrated by the iconic Culkin, Macaulay's musical production floods with techno the network and joins to the streak of good trends made in Mexico.

In this fourth release of Melomana Macaulay presents three tracks, one with Mijo (alter ego of La Royale) that perfectly defines the sound of the artist. Enjoy it!!!

Two titans of the Nu Disco sound, Javier Busto and Mr. BC join forces in "Memphis Design", a double-single with a Disco and Dub version in which the arpeggios and chords play brilliantly with the rest of the elements.

In the remixes, superb works by Retroforward (aka Alan Mckenzie, 50% of Field of Dreams) and another two by the Italo sound ambassadors: "Tulioxi" and "Italo Brutalo", each one giving their colorful visions of the original track.

That Espacio Cielo is definitely one of our favourite Indie Dance/Dark Disco labels is not a surprise at all. Curated by Parissior (SXDNS206), the Spanish imprint has been opening the interdimensional gates of this “new” scene not only to established artists (K-Effect, Azaria, Daniel Monaco, Andreas Rund, Celestino, Daniel Monaco aka Disco Mortale, Futuristant, and GUYD, just to name a few), but also to skilled newcomers (U-Msk, Cannibal Coconuts, Hyman Bass, Pan-Opt, and 9Claws, also just to name few). For its 19th release (considering EPs, singles, compilations, edit series, and free downloads), Espacio features JG Outsider, known for his previous works as 2 Rare People. “Back To Earth” brings four solid originals plus two awesome remixes by Cannibal Coconuts and label boss himself.

We were asked to premiere one of the most interesting tracks of the EP: “Deep In” is a 105-BPM theme that introduces itself with a haunting vocal hook accompanied by an ominous bassline. The threatening synth stabs and vibrant acid layer complete the highlights combo of this macabre and scary downtempo piece. When you press play, it is advisable to turn on the lights. Differently from brave dinosaurs, you may not be used to such a dark and sinister atmosphere. We come from space, we know the drill.

Belgian-born David Garcet DJ is an eclectic electronic music artist who stands out from the crowd through the sheer originality of his creations. An ambitious and determined originator, his skill and artistic direction has recently been channelled into the formation of a music agency and label based in Bangkok, Jane Music. 
Successfully blending the melodious and the decadent, every one of David Garcet's tracks plunges its listeners in his very personal and emotionally charged universe, including latest Tech house cut "Is it poetry I see". 
The original is backed up with a duo of remixes, all of which tread their own unique path. Up first is Daniel Monaco who takes it down a more Dark Disco, Italo Disco route, before Alex Medina heads into truly epic territory with soaring synths. Completing the package, another track of David Garcet "Wich dimension are u in " an exultant note with hazy washes of synth and a soaring,  house progressive track that builds to an exhilarating climax.

Parisian rule breaker @CaptainMustache lands on @my-favorite-robot-records with more of his spellbinding electro, this time with help from Fierce Ruling Diva and Robert Armani, while Smash TV step up to remix. Inspired by 80's pioneers, Detroit techno and electroclash freaks, Captain Mustache's sound is defined as romantic and burlesque electro.  

Earlier this year, he served up a single, 'How Come You Know' featuring Adamski on Electronic Emergencies that got heavy support from Dave Clarke, whilst his ‘Mentally Naked’ EP on this label was a smash, picking up love from Andrew Weatherall (RIP), DJ Mag, Laurent Garnier and more. 

He now follows things up with more stylish workouts in the shape of ‘The Future’ EP. This is a fantastically high energy affair from the off with 'You Gotta Believe' feat. Fierce Ruling Diva layering up trippy bleeps and squeaks onto jacking house drums, with soft acid lines and incessant vocals from Fierce Ruling Diva layered over the top. The excellent 'Work That' feat. Robert Armani is a more electro tinged affair with crisp hits and a glossy modulated bassline. There are cosmic vibes in the synth lines and a future retro cool in the deadpan vocals that help drive this track forwards. Final original, 'The Future' works you into a lather with its acid gurgles while far-sighted pads bring a sense of soul and optimism next to playful and wonky chords. German veteran producer, Smash TV, has long brought his own distinctive sound to the underground. Here he first flips 'The Future' into a warm slice of bubbling and colourful techno with freewheeling synth loops before offering a second superb electro remix. This one has more rugged and broken beats, again with the lush pads adding heat while a dreamy lead synth completes the trip. These are richly detailed tracks that take electro into fascinating new forms.
