A track my father wrote sometime back in the early eighties(possibly 1983/1984) and originally recorded onto tape cassette which was originally a poor quality recording.  Here I have reproduced the track whilst trying to maintain the charm of the original song in a way I hope my dad would have approved of. Hope you enjoy!

I love music and produce the genre that I love which is Progressive Trance specifically in the style of Trance music from the late 90s to the early 2000s. When I started this project back in the summer of 2002. After coming up with numerous names that would suit my style coined as ‘light, airy and melodic Trance’ I settled on the name ‘Goldengate’..

Gordon McInnes is from Glasgow and has lived there all of his life. He has been writing and producing music for the past 27 years. Gordon comes from a musical background. His late father was an ardent home producer in his spare time, writing and producing music in the style of New Age and ‘Gregorian Chants’ and has strongly influenced Gordon in his appreciation for the New Age Genre, Enya, Deep Forrest, Enigma. Gordon’s music has been heavily influenced by well known Trance acts such as 'Chicane' ‘Solar Stone’, ‘Blank and Jones’, ‘4-Strings’, ‘Space Brothers’ and ‘Rank 1’ all of which have influenced Gordon’s Trance projects whereby he goes by the alias ‘Goldengate’ which he started as a Trance project back in 2002.
