Last year Aydn gave us ‘No Ride Home’ for the first of our Nuggets series and we were so impressed with his fresh, youthful take on liquid that we asked him to keep sending us music. It didn’t take us too long to secure these two beauties and we hope you dig these as much as we do.

‘Circuit Prayer’ features the Mancunian wordsmith Nat James delivering some serious drip with his laid back flow and electric metaphors over Aydn’s crispy drums, fresh keys and twisting bass. Effortless!

‘Left Apart’ finds Aydn flexing his sample chops with this rushing, funky, fizzy concoction. Blippy atmospherics, r&b vocal chops and amens go down like an energising cocktail. Vibrant and zingy!

In case you missed our first premiere a few weeks ago, you might not have seen that Critical will soon be putting out their 100th release to mark 15 years in business. Landing at the start of May, 15 Years of Underground Sonics sees Kasra bringing together newer artists alongside established acts from the label’s lengthy history. 

With Critical sharing a longstanding relationship with us, they’ll also be coming to EC1 for a special album launch at FABRICLIVE on 12th May, with Emperor, Foreign Concept and Halogenix all set to step up alongside the label boss. As we prepare to welcome him here for the launch, Halogenix has kindly offered up an exclusive premiere of Flames, the track he produced alongside SOLAH for the landmark compilation.
