Mihai Popoviciu (@mihai-popoviciu-1) has carved out a reputation for being one of the most innovative producers of electronic music active in Europe today. The man from Romania has established himself both as a highly respected producer - releasing on labels such as Highgrade, International Gigolo and Dessous - and as a killer DJ performing all over the world. 'Fiction' is his 4th release on Poker Flat Recordings, and delivers four distinct avours to sink your teeth into.

I Should' is a slinky groover, with a slippery, evolving bassline, tight, funky percussion and a sultry female vocal. Working just as effectively early in a set as a peak time moment, it’s bound to get rinsed in the coming months.

'Twisted' is a little harder - a straighter beat signals a more heads down approach, and the bassline is sure to trigger some dancefloor scenes wherever it gets played.

Next up is title track 'Fiction' which perhaps makes a reference to Mihai’s background, with fragments of Eastern European melodies woven into the beautiful synth work, all tied together over a spacey yet driving rhythm track.

Last but by no means least is 'Interconnected' - a straight up deep bomb with echoes of classic Chicago deep and acidic house in its warm and sensual vibe.

Three records taken from Jian Kellet Liew a.k.a Kyson’s internationally acclaimed 2016 album ‘A Book Of Flying’; ‘A Song About The Future’, ‘Flightless’, and ‘You’ receive three fresh reworks, marking the Anjunadeep debut of the Australian born, Berlin based vocalist and producer. First up ‘A Song About The Future’, the original, a stunning contemplative vocal number from the LP, gets a textured underground rework from fellow Berliner and Kompakt affiliate, Dave DK, who returns to Anjunadeep following his memorable 2014 remix of Vincenzo. Next, Anjuna mainstay Jody Wisternoff and label boss James Grant put their distinctive deep house touch on ‘Flightless’; a familiar moment from the pair’s recent iTunes Dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’. Another Berliner, Ryan Davis rounds off the package following on from his impressive ‘From Within’ EP on Anjunadeep last year. Davis warps the delicate original into a dark and brooding electronic cut.

Matchy & Bott are back for that on the „Hate To Talk EP“ with two originals plus remixes by the label’s friends and renowned artists Piemont and Basti Grub. Sounds promising and you won’t get disappointed!

„Hate To Talk“ starts with a mumbling-voiced intro and catches up the positive mood on a modern and tight beat. Fresh disco-flavoured elements are defining this tune on top. The guys from Piemont put on a melodic theme with a deeper groove in their remix.

Second original „No Talking“ keeps on grooving with strong deep techhouse and hooking effects. On the other hand, Basti Grub’s remix drives on deeply sequenced waves and percussive shakers which turning through siren-formed strings into a sweet mover.
