Enflure - Touch Your Love (AMSEM008)

This release is individually 300 hand-numbered limited edition. The first 100 copies are pressed on PURPLE vinyl (AR023).
Parma-based singer and songwriter Loreni’s released her synth-pop version in 2020 and here the always charming Mushrooms Project are joined by Deep88 to provide four subterranean reworks. Translated as ‘snow in May’, the song alludes to the confusing and unexpected times through which the world is currently living, and Loreni’s bittersweet vocals offer ample inspiration for the chosen remixers to work their respective magic here. Fellow Parma residents Marco and Girogio unite under their Mushrooms Project banner with three distinct interpretations.
The duo’s work is always immaculately formed, and here they open proceedings with their ‘Disco Maxi Single’ version, where throbbing synth bass and atmospheric waves are joined by crisp machine drums for a pulsating club workout. Their ‘Balearic’ mix finds them in familiar territory as they join Leo Almunia to compose a blissful soundtrack to immersive ocean-side reflections. As the name suggests, their ‘Rave’ version is designed for dubbed out dancefloors, with bass-heavy rhythm and wigged-out effects periodically lifted by dreamy chords and distantly gliding vocals. Finally, Alessandro ‘Deep88’ Pasini arrives with his authentic dream house version, with emotive pads caressing Loreni’s reverb-soaked vocals over a chugging four/four rhythm.

About Yuu Udagawa
Yuu Udagawa, a Tokyo-based DJ, producer, and sound artist. With a broad variety of inspiring sounds like rock, hip-hop, Latin jazz, techno and house having shaped her inimitable style over the years. It comes as no surprise that Yuu’s music is truly captivating. It is both uplifting and soothing; marked by an elegant sophistication that reflects her desire to find harmony according to Golden Mean theory.
Yuu has been serving crowds at clubs, festivals and fashion shows with her repertoire as a DJ and it was only natural that this creative energy found its way into making music, so prepare to be taken into the groove.
In 2022, she was featured on Manuel Tur’s “Dreamharmonicon (feat. Yuu Udagawa)” release on Compost Records. In 2023, Yuu released her debut EP “Forever” on Cyphon Recordings (UK).
Also Yuu engaged in the creation of audio environment for aquariums, museums, apparel brands, etc., and produced soundscapes, In 2022, Yuu has produced the sound inside of a 3D hologram theatre and 7.1ch sound, sound installations at Japan’s first immersive museum featuring Impressionist masterpieces, such as Monet, Degas, etc, among other commissions.

This release marks the first in a series of ‘past patterns’: Tracks that were never released, but that I still want to put out there. They might mean something to somebody. 

‘Past patterns’ not only refers to the tracks themselves, but also to the way they were created. When I open these projects, I come across many techniques that I still use, but there are also some techniques I somehow forgot about. More than once I’ve been suprised by the creativity, only to realize that I was actually the one who came up with it. Apparently, the way creativity flows belongs to a specific point in time, and is about much more than just the toolkit you have at your disposal. Even if I had any interest in making tracks like these again, I doubt I could. 

These specific tracks were produced in 2013, right before the Love over Entropy project took off. I don’t consider this to be an album, as the only connecting factor between these tracks is that they were created during the same period. But there was never a bigger idea behind them, which for me makes the difference between an album and a collection of tracks.

We are very happy to announce our first official collaboration with the great italian label Rebirth records.
This results in 4 new remixes of fantastic Nufrequency - Fallen hero and Sometimes tracks by EinKa, Paramartha, Chronophone, Brutkho.

Established by Daniele Contrini alias Shield in 2006, Rebirth Records has surely grown up over the years into one of the most respected Italian independent label.
We've been inspired a lot by the constant quality of their releases, their stunning artworks and most of all the wide variety of artists they work with.
Nufrequency is the group of the label founder Shield himself and his studio partner Cristiano Massera. 
In 2012 They released their first album "Connected", a conceptual and very diversified piece of music where the two italian musicians collaborate with several singers from all over the world like Massive Attack collaborator Shara Nelson or the great reggae vocalist Hawkman and ride between Leftfield, downtempo and deep house on the 1st Cd and where some of the best tunes get remixed by well known househeads like Motor City Drum Ensemble, Wolf+Lamb, Tony Lionni, Jef K & Gwen Maze on the 2nd Cd.
Most of these remixes were played a lot and Fallen hero (Mcde remix) becomes a real classic on the seminal website Resident Advisor as the the most charted tracks of all time.

Two years later Goldmin Music founder Romain Lanteaume alias EinKa and three artists of the label make their own version of their two favourite tracks of this album: "Fallen hero feat. Ben Onono" and "Sometimes feat. Marie Frank".
Unfortunately, Cristiano Massera half of Nufrequency has passed away on June 14th of this year at the age of 48. We heard that terrible new when we were working on the remixes.. We didn't know the guy personally but felt really sad about that and of course we would really like to dedicate it to this very talented artist whose music will never die and keep "connecting" people all over the world.
This is exactly the goal of this album, get to connect a wide spectrum of artists and styles, get to connect the acoustic with the electronic and people from all over the world. 
This is definitely a goal and a state of mind we share with the Rebirth team.

That's why EinKa decided to collaborate with Darren Harris alias Paramartha and Stéphane Joulin alias Chronophone (who just joined the label) to remix "Fallen hero" and with Horvath Tamas alias Brutkho (author of our last vinyl) to remix "Sometimes".

The result is again a very diversified collection of remixes where Paramartha & EinKa bring "Fallen hero" to an hybrid chilled drum'n'bass epic remix.
With Chronophone, EinKa tried to give the lyrics of this track their full meaning through a very deep mix and a paradoxical melancholic and funky version of this.
"Sometimes" on the other hand is reduced to it's essential leaning towards an organic and minimalistic mix by EinKa & Brutkho.

Thanks to all at Rebirth Recordings for allowing us to work on these tracks and well this is our first "connection" but not the last!

Italian producer and DJ prodigy Kocleo is well known for easily spinning vinyl, digital, as well as quality output on labels such as Last Night On Earth, Culprit, Integrity Records, Audiomatique etc. On his San Lorenzo EP we find three fresh gems made in True Romance style: pensive yet dance- inducing. Title track offers a gradually unfolding synth-heavy cosmic exploration, while Fase2 takes a turn into the dark lands of spiralling synths and undulating basslines. Rounding it up, Break Away brings together an ear- catching vocal lead atop well crafted percussion and dreamy pads. It’s sunset at its finest, in audio form.
