Life Beat 5 of the 42-Beat Project - Death and Rebirth

When I first started this project, I didn’t clearly know why. I dabbled in making beats 3 years ago for only a few months. Then, life caught up to me (am I running away?) and got distracted and stopped for 3 years lol. 

I've gained a lot of perspective since then and now I'm back 😄.

For us to grow, we have to shed parts of ourselves that aren't serving us anymore and let the new us bloom. So we may have to cut off old habits, diet, beliefs, people, etc.

This project is dedicated to growth - the continuous cycle of death and rebirth.

Phoenix - a legendary bird that goes through cycles of regeneration and rebirth

Memento Mori (often depicted with a skull) is Latin for “remember that you must die.” Serves as a reminder of one's and other's mortality.
