Javas Ganguly is my name. JAVASCRIPT is my game. sike. Remember when South Park let you make yourself as a character online, and everyone changed their profile pic to that avatar of themselves? That's kind of what JAVASCRIPT is for me, the cyberspace version 3.0 of myself. I get to be a little bit of everywhere, my pics have that Macbook filter, life is good online haha. That makes sense right?

With Javariddim I took it back to my native ear I guess. I'm half Indian and spent a few years living in my grandfathers temple in JeRzeY. I watched a lot of Indian movies, and Hindu ceremonies are pretty damn loud, so I was always into the sounds. I wanted to make a track incorporating that vibe with a club feel. I'm really happy to put a little of me in the track, even more so being that its my first original as JAVASCRIPT.

My biggest inspiration are my parents in all honesty. They grew up in Paterson, NJ, back and forth from NYC, and genuinely love club and break music. I was always getting in trouble for having my dads Jungle Brothers tape when he was trying to listen to it. My mom loved early 90's club and so. did. I. Totally get that from her. I also played snare in a Drum Corps my freshman year of high school. The majority of my tracks are pretty bare and percussive at times if not throughout, that was my drumline's doing. I like that sound. Musically, early Mad Decent was of way inspiring. Javariddim is my Diploriddim, no avoiding that one haha. I really loved everything ghostly international was putting out back in the 01--04's. Even earlier, Adult. and Solvent, stayed on repeat. Robot ears. Also, weed. Very inspirational from day 1. ;)
